Two women suffer life-altering injuries in Nottingham triple stabbing

Two women have sustained potentially life-altering injuries following a triple stabbing in Nottingham that also left a man wounded, with all three individuals subsequently arrested and receiving hospital treatment for injuries believed to include stab wounds and trauma sustained at various stages of the incident. Nottinghamshire Police were called to reports that three people had been stabbed inside a flat on Wasnidge Walk, near the city centre, before they were said to have jumped from a window together, leading to a complex and ongoing investigation that detectives have described as being in its early stages. The two women, aged 26 and 31, were located with injuries in Nottingham city centre and rushed to hospital for urgent medical care, while the man, aged 27, was found outside the flat; all three have since been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm, though they remain in hospital at the time of writing, with the women's conditions described as serious but not currently life-threatening.

Chief Inspector Kylie Davies of Nottinghamshire Police sought to reassure the public, stating that the incident was believed to be isolated and posed no wider threat to the community. "We are still in the early stages of our investigation into this complex incident, but can confirm that three suspects have now been arrested," she said. "All three are currently receiving treatment in hospital, having appeared to have sustained stab wounds and other injuries at various stages of this incident, which was isolated and poses no threat to the wider public. We're still trying to piece together exactly what happened here, so in the meantime, we'd ask people to please share any information they have, however small or insignificant it may seem." The force has launched a formal investigation and is appealing for any witnesses or anyone with CCTV, doorbell, dash-cam or mobile phone footage that might assist in establishing the sequence of events.

The incident, which occurred near a shopping centre in the city, has prompted a significant police response, with officers urging members of the public to come forward with any information that may assist their inquiries.
